Fido Finds started by accident. About five years ago our Vizsla, Sassy, needed a new collar and I was ready for a new project on my bead loom. She wore that first beaded collar for three years: in snow, through the woods, into our pond and even swimming in the lake. I started making more collars for the dogs of friends, then the dogs of friends of friends. That's when Ellyn Ford stepped in and said it was time to make the collars available to a wider audience. Fido Finds was born. Today, we make handcrafted beaded collars for dogs of all sizes, from tiny to huge in natural leather and in colorful nylon and poly webbing. Styles range from traditional patterns to modern designs. All our collars are durable and crafted with high-quality beads woven with monofilament for strength. This fall we will be introducing a new line of beaded bracelets featuring popular dog breeds as well as cats for our animal-loving friends. And in partnership with Eye for the Find, creators of the original handcrafted art-glass nail files, we are featuring Happy Paws!, delightful glass nail files with unique paw-print dichroic glass cabochons.
